Urban Eden has been providing quality interior design / Feng Shui consulting to its clients since 1995. As a trained interior designer, I can design residential and work spaces that have lasting beautify and function. I will also assist you in making the most suitable choices which are cost effective throughout the design process.

Additionally, I also create beautiful and unique custom designed carpets for residential or commercial use. As a final and truly special touch, I complete each interior design project with an exquisite floral design based upon my client’s energy and personality.

As a certified Feng Shui practitioner, I know that external environments affect internal states of being. Professional Biography

Karen Feldman is a native Rhode Islander and a 1974 graduate of Brown University, with a BA degree in Studio Art and Art History. While attending Brown, she was additionally registered at RISD pursuing studies in painting and printmaking. She has also studied at the School of Visual Art in New York, Massachusetts College of Art, and completed courses in the Certificate Program of Interior Design at RISD. In 2001, she became the first Rhode Island certified Feng Shui practitioner who is also a trained interior designer.

During the 1980s, Ms. Feldman was an award-winning graphic designer and art director. At that point, she turned her full attention to designing 3-dimensionally, and expanded her talents to encompass interior design and Feng Shui.

She has been self-employed as an interior designer and Feng Shui consultant since 1995, service residential and commercial clients throughout New England, as well as Naples, FL and Washington, DC.

Corporate, commercial, and seminar clients include, among others, RI Economic Development Corporation, RI Home Show, Providence Business Expo, and the Breast Cancer Screening Unit of the Dana Farber Hospital in Boston, MA. She has been interviewed several times on the Steve Kass radio program, and was the featured guest on Deborah Ruggerio’s radio program “Amazing Women”.

Ms. Feldman lives and works in Providence, RI. She has been teaching at the Learning Connection for over 4 years, and also offers seminars and workshops.
